Parent-Child Book Groups

Lincoln City Libraries offers parent-child book groups for children and their adult reading partners. These groups meet once a month and are led by a trained facilitator. Register by calling the library where you would like to participate.

R.A.P. Around the Year @ Gere meets from on the 2nd Monday of the month at Gere Branch Library. We meet from 6:30 to 7:15 pm. The targeted age group is 1st - 3rd graders and a reading partner. Call the Gere reference desk at 402-441-8560 for more information or to pick up the current month's book selection. Pre-registration is required and can be done in person at Gere Branch or by calling 402-441-8560.

The Anderson Bookworms for 3rd to 5th graders meets at Anderson Branch Library on the first Tuesday of the month, November through May, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. To sign up, please call Anderson Branch, 402-441-8540.

At the October 27th, Just Desserts meeting, after discussing our monthly “assigned” book, we did a round robin at the table, asking attendees to share what mysteries they’d been reading lately that they felt they could recommend.
